Description
No. 1 Wood End is a cottage dating from the 18th century. The southeast bay features a timber frame with colour washed plaster infill, while the northwest bays have a colour washed brick casing at the ground floor and colour washed rough cast at the attic level. The cottage has a thatched roof and consists of three bays, with one storey and attics. The southwest elevation includes a front door set in a one storey 20th century addition, along with three windows of varying types, including one two-light horizontal sash with glazing bars under cambered heads. There is also one dormer that contains a pair of two-light casements. At the rear, there is a one storey colour washed brick extension.
