Description

The dairy and laundry block at Howbury Hall dates from the early 18th century. It is constructed with a timber frame, featuring red brick infill and colour washed plaster rendering, topped by a hipped old clay tile roof. The building has a three-room plan and is one storey with attics. On the west elevation, there is one 19th-century sash window with glazing bars, along with two mullioned and transomed leaded casements on the ground floor. The roof includes two gabled dormers, each with two-light leaded casements. Additionally, there are three plank doors and a red brick ridge stack, as well as another red brick stack located at the rear.
