Description

This is a former farmhouse, now divided into four separate houses. The building dates to the 17th and 18th centuries and is constructed of timber framing, with substantial portions rendered in colour-washed rough cast. It has an old clay tile roof, with a hipped section and a two-span arrangement to the south. The house follows a double-pile plan, with a west block built on a slightly lower level.

The north elevation features a ground floor with a four-light casement window and a two-light casement window, and a first floor with three two-light casement windows, all with glazing bars. A plank door is located to the right. The west elevation has a ground floor with one three-light and three two-light casement windows, and a first floor with five two-light casement windows, all with glazing bars. A 20th-century door is positioned to the right, sheltered by a bracketed gabled hood. A red brick stack runs along the multiple ridges. The interior retains carpenters' marks visible on some of the timbering. There is a 20th-century porch to the east, and a 20th-century single-storey addition to the south.
