Description
Marsh Farmhouse is a 17th-century house constructed from coursed limestone rubble. It features a steeply pitched roof with stone gable coping, which is now covered in 20th-century concrete tiles. The building has a three-bay plan and includes a large double ridge stack that serves back-to-back fireplaces in the two eastern bays; the base of this stack is made of stone, while the top is red brick. There is also a small gable end stack on the western end of the house. The farmhouse has two storeys and attics. On the northern elevation, the first floor contains five casement windows with glazing bars, while the ground floor has a doorway leading to the eastern bay and four additional casement windows with glazing bars.
