Description
No. 17 Stonehaven is a 17th century house constructed from coursed limestone rubble, topped with a plain concrete tile roof added in the 20th century. The building features stone gable coping and has a three-bay plan. It includes a double ridge chimney stack that serves back-to-back fireplaces located between two eastern rooms, as well as an external red brick chimney stack on the west end. The house is two storeys high.
On the north elevation, the first floor has four casement windows with glazing bars; three of these are two-light windows, while one is a single light window aligned with the chimney stack. The ground floor features two casement windows with glazing bars flanking a doorway that is also in line with the chimney stack. To the right side, there is a small one-storey lean-to addition that is one bay in length, rendered and covered with a Welsh slate roof.
