Description

No. 2 High Street is a 17th century house constructed from coursed limestone rubble, topped with a thatched roof that features tile gable coping. The building has a two-bay plan and likely originally extended further to the south. It has gable end chimney stacks that are rendered and colourwashed. The house stands two storeys high with attics. On the east elevation, there are two attic dormers. The first floor includes three 3-light casement windows, while the ground floor has two 3-light casements and a doorway at the southern end, which is sheltered by a 20th century pent-roofed porch.
