This is a late 17th or 18th century house situated on High Street, Carlton and Chellington. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble with a steeply pitched roof originally finished with tile gable coping, now covered with Welsh slates. The house has a symmetrical three-bay plan. It rises two storeys and features gable end chimney stacks that have been rendered. The north elevation has three 20th-century casement windows on the first floor; two are of three lights and the central one is of two lights. The ground floor has two 20th-century three-light casements flanking a doorway which has a flat doorhood. All openings are topped with timber lintels. The house is located to the rear of and connects in an L-shape with No. 26.
