Description

21 High Street is a late 17th century or 18th century house made of colourwashed coursed limestone rubble with a thatched roof. It has a two-bay plan with the gable end facing the road and consists of one storey and attics. There are gable end chimney stacks, and the south elevation features two attic eyebrow dormers. The ground floor has a doorway at the west end, along with one two-light and one three-light casement window. All ground floor openings have timber lintels. Attached to the east gable end is a barn that is now part of the dwelling, also constructed of coursed limestone rubble but with a corrugated iron roof. The south elevation of the barn has 20th century openings.
