Description

Church End House is a farmhouse dating from the 17th century. It features a colour washed rough cast exterior over a timber frame and has an old clay tile roof. The building is L-shaped, with 20th-century additions to the north and east. It has two storeys.

On the east elevation, there is a variety of casement windows, most of which have glazing bars, with some being from the 20th century. The west elevation includes a projecting left-hand gable that has a four-light casement window and a 20th-century porch on the ground floor, along with a two-light casement window on the first floor and a lean-to addition on the south elevation. The main wing features two two-light casements on the ground floor, with the left-hand one replacing a door, and two two-light horizontal sash windows on the first floor, all with glazing bars.

To the left of these windows, as well as on the south elevation of the projecting wing, are substantial external chimney stacks made of colour washed brick. The chimney stack on the main wing has a pair of diagonally-set shafts, and there is also an external stack on the south gable end of the main wing.
