Description
Sevick End Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the 17th century, with later additions. It features colour washed rough cast over a timber frame, with later sections built in colour washed brick. The roof is made of old clay tiles. The original structure has a three-room plan and is two storeys high with attics. A later one-storey wing with attics projects to the northeast, creating an overall L-shape.
On the south elevation, there is a 20th-century French window to the left, two three-light casements on the ground floor, one two-light and two three-light casements on the first floor, and a gabled dormer with a two-light casement. A substantial red brick ridge stack serves the two left-hand rooms. To the west gable end, there are weather boarded and pantiled outhouses. The farmhouse is situated on a moated site.
