Description

No 9 Park Road is a 17th-century cottage that was formerly divided into two separate homes. It features a timber frame with colour washed plaster and a thatched roof. The building has a two-bay plan and stands two storeys high with attics. A central red brick ridge stack has four linked flues, complete with a string course and cornice. There are two 2-light casement windows on both floors, all fitted with leaded lights. The cottage has a central paired doorway and a 20th-century lean-to extension at the rear.
