Description
Meadow Cottage is an early 18th-century cottage featuring a main wing that is colour washed rough cast with a thatched roof. The building has a two-room plan, is one storey high with attics, and includes central red brick stacks. The front elevation has an off-centre modern gabled thatched porch and two 2-light casement windows with glazing bars on the ground floor. There is a one-storey wing, likely built at a later date, which is joined at right angles to the main structure. The northeast elevation displays exposed timber framing, while the southwest elevation has modern weatherboarding. The northwest gable end is also colour washed rough cast and has one 2-light casement window with glazing bars.
