Description

This is an 18th-century cottage, with later alterations. It is built with a timber frame and rough cast rendering, and has a thatched roof. The cottage is arranged in an L-shape, with a single storey and attics. There are red brick stacks, one on the ridge and another on the west gable. The east-facing elevation features two 20th-century casement windows flanking a 20th-century open-sided porch with a thatched roof. A door is positioned in line with the ridge stack. A dormer window, also with a 20th-century casement, is visible. The west-facing elevation of the main wing, and the south-facing elevation of the rear wing, each have one 20th-century two-light casement window on the ground floor, alongside a dormer with a 20th-century two-light casement. Single-storey lean-to extensions with tiled roofs are attached to the north and south gable ends of the main wing.
