Description

This building is a barn, cartshed, and granary located about 20 metres north of Leyland Farmhouse. It dates from the late 18th century and is constructed of brick with a tile roof, forming an L-plan. The barn has four bays in the section extending to the east, while the cartshed with the granary above is in the section extending to the south. The threshing floor is located in the bay to the west of the center and features full-height doors. The cartshed is open to the south gable and has a blocked semi-circular entrance on the east front, which also includes an external staircase leading to the granary entrance.
