4/328 Two memorials about 6 metres north-east of vestry of church of St Peter and St Paul GV II

Two chest tombs. Died 1797 and early C19. Ashlar. To west: Greek sarcophagus standing on plinth with finial to canopy. Inscription: "Sacred to the memory of/ Ann Nott/ late of Worsley in this parish/ She died June 3 1797/ aged 41 years"; to east: chest tomb with recessed inscription panels flanked by panelled pilasters, quadrant baluster to each corner; ridged and hipped top, with moulded cornice, inscription illegible.
