Description
There are three chest tombs located approximately 30 meters north of the transept of All Saints Church.
The first tomb is for Anna Van Bodicoat, who died in 1825. It is made of stone and rests on a double stone plinth, although the railings are now missing. The tomb features fluted pillars at the ends, with oval panels on the sides that have swags in the corners and an inscription. The ends have standing ovals that are partially inserted, and it has a pyramidal top.
The second tomb is for Ann Powell, who died in 1833. This stone chest tomb is also on a stone plinth with missing railings. Its sides are adorned with ogee moulded incised bands and segmental headed panels for inscriptions. The ends have segmented panels, and it has a moulded stone base, a cornice, and a pyramidal top.
The third tomb is for Faith Compton, who died in 1800. This tomb is on a stone plinth with missing railings as well. It has a plain stone chest that tapers towards the base, topped with a pyramidal top and a moulded base.
