Description

A terrace of five houses at 10-14 Lion Hill, Stourport on Severn, dating to approximately 1820. The houses are built of brick with concrete tiled roofs. They are three storeys high and each has a single-unit plan, although the houses are irregularly spaced along the terrace. Each house features a 6-panelled door topped with an open pediment supported by console brackets. They have stilted cast-iron heads to 12-pane windows that imitate sash windows. A simple brick eaves band and axial stacks are present. The terrace was extended to the rear and re-roofed around 1950. It is believed that original staircases are still located inside. The terrace is included on the list for its group value.
