Description

Vine Cottage is a house dating from the 18th century, remodelled in the early 19th century, with alterations made in the mid-20th century. The house is constructed of brick with a stuccoed front, and has a tile roof. The south-west facing front, which looks onto the garden, has two gables with brick coped verges. There are two windows on this front, with timber cross-windows set under segmental heads; the window on the left is blind. The ground floor has three timber cross-windows, and a door is positioned to the right of centre, featuring a wooden architrave and a flush panelled door. The rear roof has a surviving 18th-century upper cruck truss.
