Description

Bridgewater Cottage is a house dating back to the 17th century, with alterations made in the mid-19th century and some later additions in the late 20th century. It is timber-framed with brick infill and a tile roof, featuring an external gable end stack on the left. The house is two storeys high with an attic, which is lit by two gabled dormers. It has three windows on the upper floor, which are 3-light casements from the 20th century. The ground floor windows are 4-light casements from the 20th century, and the central entrance has a hipped tile canopy supported by wooden posts with lattice infill on either side. The entrance door is a 20th-century ledged and boarded style. The timber framing consists of four square panels in height with straight angle braces.
