Description
This is a dovecote located about 10 metres southeast of The Old Rectory, dating from the late 17th century. It was altered in the mid-19th century and restored in the late 20th century. The structure is timber-framed with brick infill, and the ground floor has been replaced with brick. It features a tile roof and has a square plan situated in the corner of a walled garden, which is not included in the listing. The dovecote is two storeys high with a pyramidal roof that has a lantern at the apex, restored in the 1970s. There are two openings on each side, with a door leading into the ground floor, which is used as a shed, and access to the upper floor through a small top-hung door. The framing consists of two square panels high to the first floor.
