Description

The Perkins Memorial is a chest tomb located about 61 yards south of the chancel of the Church of St Mary the Virgin. It dates from the mid-19th century and is constructed of sandstone ashlar. The tomb features a moulded base and cornice with a raised, hipped capping, along with raised inscription panels. It commemorates John Perkins, who died in 1847.
