Description
No. 50 Bridge Street is a house dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century, with later alterations. It is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond and features a Welsh slate roof with painted brick dogtooth eaves. The building has three storeys and a two-window range of 2/2-pane boxed horned sashes, which have painted channelled voussoirs, keystones, and sills on the first floor. The second floor has a single smaller sash with a sill. On the ground floor, to the left, there is a larger sash similar to those above, also with painted voussoirs, a keystone, and a sill. To the right, there are three nosed stone steps leading up to a six-panel door with an overlight, a panelled reveal, and a wooden architrave with a pedimented hood. The building also has a painted brick plinth with a cellar grille. The interior has not been inspected.
