Description
This is an early 19th-century house, later converted into flats, located on Bridge Street, Pershore. The house is constructed of red and yellow brick in a Flemish bond pattern, with a plain tile roof. The roofline has raised eaves at the front, a painted moulded cornice, and two brick chimney stacks. The front elevation has a three-window arrangement on each of the three storeys and a cellar level. The first floor windows are 8/8 sash windows with painted channelled voussoirs, keystones, and sills. Above these are smaller 4/8 sash windows. The ground floor features two canted bay windows with pitched lead roofs, plate glass sashes, and sill bands. A central rendered doorcase has three-quarter Doric columns, a stone plinth, an entablature with triglyphs and paterae, a six-panel door, a fanlight with decorative glazing bars, two stone steps with nosings, and iron scrapers. To the left is a doorcase with a moulded architrave and a 20th-century door leading to a side passage. The front has a painted moulded stone and brick plinth, which incorporates a cellar grille on the right. The interior has been divided into flats.
