Description

This is a mid-to-late 18th century house on Bridge Street, Pershore. It is constructed of painted brick in a Flemish bond pattern and has a plain tile roof with two hipped-roofed dormers, cogged brick eaves, and a tall, central rendered ridge stack. The house has two storeys with an attic and a cellar.

The front façade has a three-window arrangement. There’s one narrow 4/4 sash window and one 6/6 sash window, both with gauged brick flat arches. To the right is a shallow, two-storey canted bay window with a pitched roof, a moulded cornice, plate glass sashes, projecting sills, and brick aprons. On the ground floor there is a similar single-storey canted bay window towards the centre and, to the left, a six-panel door set within a classical doorcase. The doorcase features three-quarter height Doric columns on plinths, an entablature with a triglyph frieze, and a pediment. There are two stone steps with nosings leading up to the door. The interior of the house was not inspected as part of the listing process.
