Description
No. 52 Bridge Street is a house dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century, with later alterations from the 19th century. It is constructed of red brick in an irregular Flemish bond and features a plain tile roof with painted dogtooth eaves and a brick lateral stack on the right side. The building has two storeys and a cellar.
The exterior includes a two-storey canted bay window with a pitched leaded roof, which has plate glass horned sashes arranged in a pattern of 1/1:2/2:1/1 and projecting sills. To the left, there are three stone steps leading up to a six-panel door, which is framed by a wooden architrave topped with a pedimented hood. The house has a painted plinth. The interior has not been inspected.
