Description
The Old Post Office is an 18th-century house with an earlier core, featuring a roughcast exterior and a rubble stone base on the west wall. It has a slate roof with ridge and west end stacks. The building is two stories high and has a three-window range of casements with iron opening lights, consisting of a two-light window on the left side and three-light windows in the center and on the right. There is an off-center flush panelled door, which is topped by a 19th-century curved wooden hood supported by brackets and fluted side strips. Additionally, there is a bread oven located on the west end wall.
