Description
New Pebworth House, formerly part of Pebworth House, is a house that dates from the early 19th century and is likely a remodelling of an earlier structure. It features painted brickwork, a low-pitched slate roof, and a central ridge stack. The house has coped gables and stands three storeys tall with an irregular three-window arrangement. The attic has pairs of casement windows. On the first floor, there are two wooden casement windows with top lights and iron opening lights, one set in a cambered head surround, and one glazing bar sash window with side lights also in a cambered head surround. The ground floor includes a six-panel door on the left side, framed by a reeded surround and a margin-glazed fanlight, a central sash window with glazing bars, and a sash window on the right side with side lights, all featuring cambered heads. Early 19th-century cast iron railings are present in front of the house. There are two datestones, possibly reset, one at the south end reading "IB 1766" and another located under a ground floor window reading "PME 1778."
