Description

No. 78 High Street is a house and shop that dates from the late 18th century to early 19th century, with some later alterations. The building is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond, with parts that have been refaced. It features a Welsh-slate roof with brick dogtooth eaves.

The exterior has three storeys and a single-window range. On the first floor, there is an 8/8 sash window with a gauged brick cambered arch. Above this, there is a renewed 6/6-pane casement window with a wooden lintel. The ground floor has a 20th-century shopfront and doors. The interior has not been inspected.
