Description
This building is a living room that is attached to the south-west corner of the Gable House. It dates back to the 17th century and underwent alterations in 1981. Originally a barn, it features a timber-frame structure with rendered infill set on a sandstone plinth and has a thatched roof. The building consists of two framed bays that are aligned east to west. The south front is one storey high and includes a gable-lit attic. To the left, there is a two-light 20th-century oriel window, and the entrance is accessed through a 20th-century link to the Gable House. The framing displays a mixture of two and three square panels in height.
