Description

39 Snowshill Road is a house dating from the 17th century or earlier. It features a cruck frame with timber-framed walls and a thatched roof. The building is one storey high with an attic. The front wall is framed in two rows of square panels and includes two windows on the ground floor, along with two dormer windows in the attic. There is a chimney on the right side that connects to the adjacent property, Meadowside. The left-hand gable wall displays an exposed cruck truss with spurs to the wall-posts, a collar, and a yoke that joins the tops of the blades. The lower part of this wall is infilled with stone. On the ground floor, there is a window with a doorway to its right that has plain reveals. Beneath the collar, there is an attic window.
