Description

This chest tomb, located about 15 yards south of the Sandys Mausoleum, dates from the early 19th century. It is constructed from sandstone ashlar with lias panels and features a moulded plinth and capping. The inscriptions on the tomb have eroded over time. This large chest tomb is noted for its pleasing simplicity within the churchyard.
