Description

This barn, located about 40 metres north-west of Grange Farmhouse, dates from the early to mid-18th century and has undergone some alterations in the late 19th century. It features a timber frame set on a sandstone ashlar plinth and is weatherboarded, topped with a half-hipped corrugated iron roof. The barn consists of three framed bays arranged in a north/south direction, with a central threshing floor. The framing includes single rectangular panels that are high and supported by straight tension braces. Grange Farmhouse is not included in this listing.
