Description

SP 0937 BROADWAY CP HIGH STREET (south side) 8/84 No 45 GV II Shop. Late C18, altered early C20. Limestone ashlar with Welsh slate roof. Two storeys. On the ground floor is a canted bay window which is sashed with glazing bars and has a stone base. A stone slated canopy on consoles extends over the doorway to its right. On the first floor is a 6-light rebated and chamfered mullioned window with hood, probably a C20 insertion. The doorway has an elliptical arch with keystone and impost blocks. Band below parapet with coping and four balls. Included for group value.
