Description

No 36 on High Street is a shop that dates from the mid-18th century and was altered in the 20th century. It is constructed from squared limestone and has a stone slate roof. The building has two storeys with an attic and features two bays. The ground floor has a 20th-century timber shop front that includes two bowed windows and a central doorway. The first floor has 20th-century leaded casement windows with plain reveals. There are two gabled dormers, each with leaded casements, and the gables are coped. A chimney with a cyma cornice is located on the right side of the building. This property is included for its group value.
