Description
32 and 32A High Street are shops dating from the late 17th century, with some 20th-century alterations. The building is constructed of limestone rubble and features a stone slate roof. It is one storey high with an attic and has three bays. The windows are rebated and chamfered, equipped with mullions and hoods. A single-storey 20th-century shop extends forward from the left-hand bay. The ground floor windows consist of four lights, while there is a single-light chamfered fire window to the right of the second bay. The attic dormers contain windows with two, three, and three lights, all with straight hoods. The right-hand dormer has ovolo-moulded mullions. To the left of the third bay, there is a door with a chamfered surround. The left-hand gable is coped and topped with a finial. There are chimneys located to the left of the door and on the right-hand gable, both featuring cyma cornices.
