Description

No. 35 High Street is a shop building from the mid-18th century, with alterations made around 1900. It is constructed from squared limestone and features a stone slate roof. The building has two storeys and an attic, with two bays. The windows are casements that include glazing bars and plain reveals, and there are two dormers in the attic. The right-hand bay has a wide shop front with a timber fascia and a door located to the left. The gables are coped and have chimneys topped with cyma cornices. Inside, there are exposed chamfered ceiling beams and a stone inglenook with a bressummer.
