Description

This is a two-shop building, likely dating to the late 18th century, with alterations made in the early 20th century. It is constructed from squared limestone and has a stone slate roof. The building is two storeys high and features three bays. The ground floor has three canted bay windows set on stone bases, connected by a stone-slated canopy; the right-hand bay window is wider than the others. The first floor has two sashed windows with glazing bars. A four-light mullioned window, appearing to be a replacement from the early 20th century, is located in the third bay. A doorway is situated to the right of the first bay, with a gateway leading to a passage to its right. A shop door is set within the right-hand part of the middle bay window. The building has end chimneys, with the left-hand one capped with brick. The building has group value.
