Description
Little Cottage, Bay Cottage, and the barn attached to the north are a cottage range dating from the 17th century, constructed from blue lias stone. The cottages feature a modern plain tile roof, except for the north end of the barn, which has a corrugated roof. The buildings are two-storey, with an external stack on the south end wall of Little Cottage and a ridge stack on the north end wall of Bay Cottage. Little Cottage has a two-window range with modern casements. Bay Cottage also has a two-window range, featuring a pair of casements and another pair with top lights in a gabled half-dormer on the first floor. The ground floor includes one door and three windows, one of which was formerly a door, all with cambered heads. The barn has four bays and features a collar-and-tie-beam truss, with a weatherboarded north gable, likely dating from the 18th century.
