Description

The Long House is a Grade II listed building that was originally three cottages, dating from the 17th to 18th century. It is constructed from blue lias stone and features a gable-ended plain tile roof. The house has a large stone stack on the front wall and two smaller brick stacks at the ends.

The building is two storeys high and has a two-window range at the east end, with casement windows. The ground floor includes a triple casement window with a wooden lintel and limestone jambs. There are rough limestone cornerstones at the joint with the west section, which has a three-window range. This includes two windows to the west of the stack and one to the east, with casements above and modern windows below.
