Description

The Post Office and Almond Cottage is an 18th-century cottage constructed of painted rubble stone, with a 19th-century stuccoed west end. It features a modern tile roof and an east end wall stack. The building was originally two storeys and has a two-window range. The upper floor retains original leaded casements, while the lower floor includes a pair of casements, a triple casement, and a door. The stuccoed extension has casement pairs on each floor. At the rear, there is a one-and-a-half-storey cottage range with two small dormers, one ridge stack, and an end wall stack. Almond Cottage has a door and a casement window on the ground floor.
