Description

The Green Cottage is a house that was refaced in the 19th century with red brick, originally built earlier. It features a plain tile roof with a west end wall stack and one dormer. The building is two stories high with an attic and has brick dentilled eaves. On the first floor, there are three paired casement windows, while the ground floor has two tiled splayed bay windows and two doors with cambered heads, one of which is blocked. There is a timber porch at the right side door. Attached to the west end is a one-storey and attic stone range with a hipped roof, one dormer, and a modern garage at the front. Inside, there are chamfered beams that likely date from the 17th century.
