Description

The Laurels is an early 18th-century farmhouse that was refaced in the 19th century. It is constructed of blue lias stone, with the south front stuccoed and featuring a fish-scale tiled roof. The farmhouse is two and a half stories high, with three windows across the front, and includes two attic gables. It has large 19th-century casement windows, a central door, and a 19th-century iron verandah. Rendered end-wall stacks and coped gables are also present. A stone rear wing extends from the main structure; this wing is two stories high, with a plain tile roof, two ridge stacks, and a 19th-century brick facade facing east.
