Description
1, 2 and 3 Shop Lane are three houses built from the late 17th century to early 18th century, with some early 19th century additions and late 20th century alterations. The houses feature timber framing at each end, with brick and rendered infill on a lias plinth, and a central section made of brick. They have a thatched roof with gable-end stacks and are one storey high with an attic, which is lit by three eyebrow dormers on one end and two on the other. The ground floor has two casements on the left, two in the center under segmental heads, and one on the right. All entrances have ledged and boarded doors, with the left door sheltered by a thatched canopy. The framing consists of one and two square panels high.
