Description

Ashwin Court, comprising numbers 1, 3, 5, and 7, is a house dating from the late 17th century, which was remodelled in 1898 and has undergone some late 20th-century alterations. It is constructed of lias stone with ashlar quoins, and has a raised machine tile roof. The building has a L-shaped plan and features gable-end stacks. It has one storey with an attic, the latter lit by two 19th-century gabled stone dormers. The ground floor has two 20th-century windows; the window on the left has a brick wedge lintel. An entrance is located in the left-hand return wall, with a stone-mullioned window to its left. The building is included on the list for its group value.
