Description

The buildings at 33 and 35 Main Street in Bretforton are likely 17th century in origin, with later alterations made in the early 19th century and the mid-20th century. Originally shown on Ordnance Survey maps as numbers 33, 35, and 37, they now function as two houses. The construction is of lias rubble, and the roof is thatched. A central axial stack is located to the right of the building's centre. The house has one storey with a hipped attic, which is lit by three eyebrow dormers. The front features four casement windows; the window to the left of centre has a 20th-century concrete lintel. There are three entrances, situated at the left and right corners and roughly in the centre. The rear of the property previously occupied by number 37 reveals some exposed timber framing.
