Description

Two houses, numbered 6 and 7, date from the early 19th century and have undergone later alterations. They are located in Love’s Grove, Worcester. The houses are constructed of pinkish-brown brick with a slate roof and tall brick stacks to the rear, featuring oversailing courses and decorative pots. The houses are two storeys high with three windows to the first floor, each with 8/8 sash windows in plain reveals and sills. The left and off-centre right sides of the houses each have a four-panel door within a timber architrave. The interiors have not been inspected. These houses represent a rare survival of artisan housing in Worcester and form a good group with numbers 1, 2, and 3 Love’s Grove.
