Description

This outbuilding, located about 10 metres south of Upper Battenhall Farmhouse, dates from the late 17th century and has been altered in the mid-19th century. It features a timber frame with brick infill set on a stone plinth and is topped with a tile roof. The structure consists of two framed bays, with the framing comprising four square panels high and straight angle braces. The roof, likely from the 19th century, includes king post trusses. This building is included for its group value with the farmhouse.
