Description

This is a churchyard cross located about 20 metres north of the Church of St Nicholas in Warndon. It is probably from the 15th century, with a welded metal addition made in 1980. The cross is made of ashlar and features a broken octagonal shaft that has broaches at the square bottom, which is set in a square base. The shaft is topped with a metal cross and a plate that commemorates the 1300th anniversary of the Diocese of Worcester, celebrated in 1980.
