Description
The garden wall, located about 10 yards south of The Manor, dates from the early 18th century with some alterations made in the mid-19th century. It is constructed of brick and features sandstone coping. The wall stands approximately four feet high and extends for about 40 yards in front of The Manor, sloping up at each end to end in 19th-century square gate piers. It continues for about 30 yards to the west of the western gate piers and 10 yards to the east of the eastern gate piers, where it concludes with a small square pier. This wall is part of the original 18th-century garden layout of The Manor, serving to conceal the gardens from Droitwich Road. It plays an important role in the setting of the house and the approach to Feckenham village center. It is included for its group value.
