Description

The gates and gateway, located approximately 5 metres north-west of Home Farmhouse, are believed to date from the 17th century but were re-set in their current position in the late 19th century. They are made of wrought iron and brick. The 19th-century brick gateway features a round arch with stone coping. The gates themselves have alternating twisted verticals and a band of scrolled decoration. The overthrow includes a central star-shaped finial. It is said that these gates originated from the north porch of Worcester Cathedral.
